How to investigate Premier League history.

Start with a club, season or question. The product is designed to let you follow a finding into the evidence and context behind it.

GET STARTED

Your first three steps

1
Choose your clubs

Pin up to four on Basic so My Clubs opens with the teams you care about.

2
Start from context

Use recent form, table position, best finish or a current streak as the jumping-off point.

3
Change the question

Open Explore for match-derived investigation or Advanced for a full-era club-season profile. Choose a season, switch club, compare home/away, inspect form and streaks, then follow interesting matches or seasons into deeper context.

TERMINOLOGY

Two kinds of points

Table points include dated official points deductions and corrections where they affected standings.

Match-earned points describe performance on the pitch. Form, starts and streak analysis use match-earned points so a sanction is not mislabelled as poor form.

FORM

Chronological, not round-numbered

Rolling form uses the order matches were actually played, which matters when fixtures were postponed or rearranged.

CROSS-ERA

38 and 42 games are different

Use PPG, points percentage, goals per match and equal-games alignment when comparing seasons with different formats.

COVERAGE

Unknown stays unknown

Half-time analysis is only shown where coverage supports it. Missing source fields are never converted to zero.

WHAT THIS IS NOT

Historical investigation, not live football coverage.

No live-score promise, era-wide player-career database or era-wide xG claim.

The current product includes My Clubs, Explore, Club and Season history, Match context, Table Race, Compare, Records and Head-to-Head. Premium adds Advanced Analysis across the full Premier League era using complete result/table coverage. The 2017/18 season then unlocks an additional specialist Deep Data layer with player profiles, event analysis and experimental Explorer xG because equivalent source coverage is not available across every season.
